BALWYN HIGH SCHOOL

This project included the demolition of existing sports areas and listed school wings to make way for a new, three-level school building designed by Architectus. The new building has a footprint of approximately 1,600m2 and incorporates 21st century classrooms, computer pods, staff areas, male and female amenities, a theatrette and visual communications areas. The facility features modern, open plan teaching areas and also incorporated a construction methodology that allows for alterations and additions to take place in the future.
