DAME PHYLLIS FROST

Construction of an 84 bed prison was completed at Victoria’s high-security women’s prison, the Dame Phyllis Frost Centre in Deer Park. APM drew on its past experience in completing substantial construction contracts of a similar nature safely, on time and to budget and put in place protocols with the prison staff to secure access logistics and deliver a successful project for all stakeholders. Stage 1, $22m, was completed defect free in September 2012. Following the successful delivery of this stage, the $4m second stage was negotiated and involved the construction of a high security fence along the prison boundary.
